This wedding at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens was very beautiful. This wedding was very colorful. I returned to my home state of Virginia and it was familiar, but different. Richmond is bigger than I remember, prettier too. Suzie found my photography because my best friend, Annie, was one of her bridesmaids. So this wedding was extra fun for me because my best friend was there.

I took Suzie and David's engagement photos last year in Asheville, North Carolina. Their pup Ryder didn't make it to the wedding.

You can get married at Lewis Ginter year round, and their in-house caterer, Meriwether Godsey, is amazing.

For getting ready, we had access to a really beautiful suite with stylish furniture. The grounds have gazebos, benches, shade and large flower bushes for photo backdrops. As a photographer this is honestly an incredible place to shoot!
