Historic Midway is a cute one-street town halfway between Lexington and Frankfort, KY. Originally, Becca and Andrew planned a larger wedding at a true wedding venue, but June 13 allowed 50 gatherings or less only for COVID. Difficult to adjust, and even to celebrate during times of global uncertainty and struggle. When loved ones come together, I am proud to be part of it. The need for beautiful loving energy in the world is larger now than ever.
This year has reminded me of my foundation - the values that will keep me strong no matter what. I hope 2021 will bring an abundance of love, energy and care. Health and kindness. Gently moving on from the things that no longer serve us, or maybe cutting them off completely. Earlier this year I was wondering if I could keep photographing weddings because the materialistic nature of this industry was bumming me out. Now, I believe as long as the weddings I am invited to center true, meaningful love solidarity... I want to be there photographing them.
